The UMC-1 ships with a machined metal remote control unlike anything I have seen before. Double boxed and strong supports inside. Music and movies has gone up a level, and I am looking forward to experiencing my favourite films again. The kick in drums is there, but can be felt so much more than before.

But the Blue is too bright. Suddenly I'm getting audio dropouts with blu-rays and also those "pops" and "static" when an audio signal is first detected after switching inputs like others have reported on the Emotiva forums.

The Emotiva XMC-1 that is planned for release in (sometime ;)) has HDMI . I was looking for low, and mid range slam as the autobots fired their weapons. I was not. Is there anyone here that has the UMC-1 with the latest firmware update? Ultra Hi-End HT Gear ($20,+), D-cinema Equipment and Theaters, High Dynamic Range (HDR) & Wide Color Gamut (WCG), Screens.

I recently purchased an Emotiva UMC-1, XPA-5 and a XDA. Join Date: Mar Yet Another Emotiva UMC-1 &/or XPA-5 Problem Pre/Pro, Amplifiers and Separate Blu-ray reviews: 4 I have to unplug the UMC-1 and plug it back in to get ANY audio.

|The GUI is simple and easy to navigate, and one can navigate by the screen on the UMC too in case a display is not switched on.
Although I do need to upgrade some of my legacy sources. It was a revelation. Come on James stop playing and let us know what you think, also what kit you had before to compare against would help.
